Chaos and Clutter

Your confidence will improve when you begin to tackle your chaos and clutter. Not only will you be able to find things more easily, you will become more organised and feel more in control.

While most organising books simply offer good tips for changing the symptoms of disorganisation, Why Am I So Disorganised helps you identify and transform the root causes by teaching you how to recognise habits of thought and action that contribute to disorder, and by inspiring and motivating you to make changes that direct you to a more rewarding and stress-free way of life.

We love this book, although haven't quite managed to read all of it yet!

"Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui"

While I am not personally very sure how Feng Shui works, I know that when I walk into my bedroom and it's a MESS I sigh, my shoulders slump and it brings me down.  Whether you want to call that "negative energy" or not is up to you, but this book has some profound wisdom that anyone can use to make their home feel more homely.

The chapter on Why People Keep Clutter will make you cringe and laugh out loud at the same time!

We absolutely love the "Dodo-Pad".  Ideal if you've never used a diary before, like to doodle, or if your family activities are so chaotic that you want to tear your hair out!

If you are living in total chaos, you could try www.Flylady.net

Flylady has been really helpful, but it can be overwhelming at times.  If you join the mailing list, your inbox will be FULL of emails all day every day (you have been warned!)  Even so, it's a great site and you can learn plenty just by visiting the website.
